Genavieve Heywood – Pastor
In June 2014, Pastor Gen joined us as a partner on the journey of deepening our faith, strengthening our witness to Christ’s compassion, and continuing the practice of justice that leads to peace.
Pastor Gen has a BA degree in German and Music Therapy from Emmanuel College in Boston, and her MDiv from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Massachusetts. She lives in Spokane Valley with her two amazing teenagers, two dogs, and a house bunny.
Joyce Walker – Administrative Assistant
Joyce works part-time in our church office as administrative assistant. She enjoys sharing her faith and life experiences with others through community service outreach, worship and staying connected with people of all ages.
When she gets a moment to herself, Joyce enjoys reading, teaching, scrapbooking, photography, community gardening, and walking her two dogs among nature. She keeps things in order and still has fun!
Wayne Shull – Minister of Music
Wayne has been involved in church music mostly as pianist and organist since middle school age. He came to our congregation more than five years ago and almost immediately began sharing his wonderful gift of music. He is now part of the staff and provides musical accompaniment for our worship experiences as well as leads our choir.
Wayne grew up on a dairy and continues to have the hardworking ethics of a farmer. He is a leader with the SE Spokane County Fair. We are blessed beyond measure to have him with us.
