On the first Sunday of February, we celebrate the life of Rosa Parks by holding a birthday party in her honor and collecting items for the MLK Center.

Ash Wednesday Service
We hold an evening Ash Wednesday service to prepare for the season of Lent. Ashes, oil, meditation, and prayer.

Maundy Thursday - Last Supper Remembered
We remember Jesus' last supper with his disciples by sharing a meal similar to the one he may have eaten.
Good Friday Service
Our Good Friday Service at 1:00 pm will be preceded and followed by an hour of prayer and meditation, corresponding with the three hours of darkness (12:00 to 3:00 p.m.) before Jesus' death.

Easter Sunrise Service, Egg Hunt, and Potluck
Our Easter celebration begins with a service outside the church at sunrise, followed by a breakfast potluck. Regular service at 10:30 is followed by brunch and an egg hunt for children.

St. Francis Sunday - Blessing of the Animals
In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, pets that mingle well with others are welcome to attend church on the first Sunday in October. A special blessing (and dog treat, if applicable) is given to each pet.

Sunday before Thanksgiving - Thanksgiving Potluck
We give thanks for our church family by sharing a Thanksgiving meal together after church.

December - Plum Pudding
One of our oldest traditions, Plum Pudding is an afternoon of food (including plum pudding, but many other foods as well) and fun as our congregants share their talents of music, dance, puppeteering, story-telling, and more.

Christmas Eve Serivce
Our Christmas Eve service includes a "flash mob" nativity play (anyone who comes 30 minutes before the service is welcome to participate) and a candelight service.
